Welcome young Jason. Coffs Total Chiropractic is thrilled to introduce Jason Barby as the newest member of our team. We call him “young Jason” around here to help avoid confusion.
Young Jason brings a wealth of knowledge from his recent training at the Australian Chiropractic College. He has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by golfers, having been one himself for over 30 years.
Jason’s passion for Chiropractic began right here in Coffs Harbour. He suffered pain and poor mobility through his 20’s while trying to play competitive golf at a high level. This eventually forced him to give up. After many attempts at getting help he eventually found help through Chiropractic care. We can’t share that story here due to our registration board’s ban on testimonials. But it’s fair to say he was motivated to go to the Australian Chiropractic College as a result.
Spending many years observing fellow golfers fueled his motivation to help the golfing community. They would struggle on the course due to various pains and injuries. Frustrated with seeing fellow golfers resort to temporary fixes like painkillers, he determined to pursue a career where he could provide long-lasting solutions.
After a 4 year stint in Adelaide for his studies, where he lived away from his family and friends and had to sacrifice more time on the golf course, young Jason is now eager to apply his expertise to help the golfing performance of our community members. He understands the critical role of chiropractic care in preventing injuries, managing pain, and improving overall mobility—key factors that can significantly impact your game and enjoyment.
Young Jason is married to the amazing Mio. They have 2 children with number 3 on the way. With the oldest starting school this year, Jason describes life as “exciting”.
Getting back to some regular golf is important for Jason and the family are keen to explore nature in the Coffs Harbour district. He looks forward to meeting you while out and about, maybe even while enjoying a Mocha at one of Coffs excellent cafes.
Young Jason’s approach to care is simple yet effective. He emphasizes the importance of understanding the underlying issues rather than just masking symptoms. For those in our community who enjoy golf but find themselves hindered by discomfort or restricted movement, Jason offers three easy steps to start improving your game:
For our Japanese-speaking friends, Jason is also fluent in Japanese and looks forward to assisting you in your language.
